Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 23, 2026

1. Overview

Telygent ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our platform and services. By using Telygent, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account Information

Name, email address, organization name, and password when you register for an account.

Usage Data

Information about how you use the Service, including API request logs, query volumes, feature usage, and error reports.

Conversation History

AI conversation history is stored in Redis infrastructure associated with your account. You own this data and control its retention.

Payment Information

Billing details are processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card details.

Device and Technical Data

IP address, browser type, operating system, and session identifiers collected automatically when you access the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service
  • Authenticate users and manage accounts
  • Process payments and enforce subscription limits
  • Send transactional emails (account creation, password reset, billing)
  • Monitor for abuse, fraud, and security incidents
  • Respond to support requests and communications
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data to train AI models or sell it to third parties.

4. Your Data and AI Processing

When you connect your data sources to Telygent, queries are sent to an AI orchestration layer to generate responses. The data you query against remains under your control. We process it only to fulfill your requests and do not retain raw query results beyond what is required to return a response.

Conversation history is stored in Redis infrastructure provisioned for your account. You are responsible for managing the lifecycle of that history, including deletion.

5. Sharing of Information

We may share your information with:

  • AI model providers — queries may be forwarded to third-party LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) to generate responses. These providers have their own privacy policies.
  • Payment processors — billing information is handled by PCI-compliant third-party processors.
  • Infrastructure providers — cloud and hosting partners who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
  • Legal authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Usage logs are retained for a rolling period for security and billing purposes. Conversation history in Redis is retained based on your configuration. Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. API keys are stored using secure hashing. Despite these measures, no system is entirely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials.

8. Cookies and Tracking

We use session cookies to maintain authentication state. We may use analytics tools to understand usage patterns and improve the Service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect functionality.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Request a portable copy of your data
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

To exercise these rights, contact us at legal@telygent.com.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

11. International Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers in accordance with applicable data protection law.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised policy with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
